Connecting with “Meditation”

“Opening Quote”
“There’s no bigger enemy neither a best friend than your own “Mind”.

“Meditation”!!
The word sounds so familiar!!
Many may claim to be practicing it daily!!
Some may also claim to be expert of “Meditation”!!
Regret to say but such practice remains only physical exercise as far as real meaning & purpose of “Meditation” is concerned.
Then, what is “Meditation”?
There are many classical or religious definitions available but our objective is to evaluate, define & understand it in terms of its applicability in practical connection with our daily life.
But unfortunately, it’s widely perceived in limited meaning of pertaining only to a specific religion or up to health care exercise.
On the contrary, it’s an established & applied logical technique & support tool for our “Mind”, equally applicable & greatly useful to all human being irrespective of religion or gender or any other discriminatory criteria.
The only pre requisite to define the eligibility to “Meditate” is to have a “Mind”!!
It’s for all who are born on this earth with human body, to enable their “Mind” to explore its own infinite potential.
How do we correlate all the points to our daily life as mentioned above?
Well, the answer is as we all know or claim to know that our “Mind” is a tool by which we control ourselves.
We feel, we act, we react, everything depends on “Mind”, everything gets decided by “Mind” & that’s even scientifically proven.
Just try to recollect any moment of time when you felt cool, calm, composed, afresh, full of positive energy. At that time, you yourself must have felt that your “Mind” is in good state, fresh, rejuvenated & very much balanced. This surely must have been felt by all of us many times in our life.
This establishes the fact that our feelings, condition, status is the direct product of the status of our “Mind”.
It all starts & end with “Mind”. Rather, it’s all “Mind” game around us.
So, if we want to remain happy, fresh, rejuvenated, in a balanced state, we just can’t ignore our “Mind” because it all originates from there & we will be in the same state which our “Mind” shall put us in.
This is a fact for all human being irrespective of whatever religion they follow.
The problem is that our “Mind” does not remain in same state permanently.
Just imagine the magnitude of our “Mind”; it’s like gigantic processing machine which processes “n” no of tasks simultaneously each moment 24/7. It gets affected by every single moment in our life & continuously produces results (action or reaction) as per its own interpretation of the condition.
Our status i: e: – feelings, mood etc.; keeps changing as per the results (action or reaction) produced by the “Mind”, & accordingly, our daily life keeps getting impacted.
On the other hand, all of us want to remain happy, cool, calm, composed & balanced all the time, &, we know that it depends on the status of our “Mind”.
But status of our “Mind” keeps changing constantly as explained above.
Hence, logically thinking what should be the solution to always remain happy, cool, calm, composed & balanced?
The only solution can be to keep our “Mind” in the same status as our desired status!
But looking at the fluctuating nature of the “Mind”, the question is how do we do that?
Well, here comes the answer in the form of simplest definition of “Meditation”.
◆◆◆
“Meditation” in its true meaning is simply a state of “Mind”.
◆◆◆
It’s only shifting of the “Mind” from, one status (which is full of issues & problems occurring from daily life) to another status which is free of all disturbances & where it feels comfort, gets relaxed by the auto generated soothing effect of this status.
For the sake of understanding, we recognize it as a technique to balance the state of “Mind”.
We must remember that, “Mind” is already having inherent inbuilt capacity to use this technique to balance & rejuvenate itself.
Hence, it’s very much simple to understand that with the help of “Meditation”, “Mind” shall remain cool, calm, composed, balanced all the time & so shall we.
Thus, “Meditation” has clear direct linkage with our daily life by practical application.
There’s absolutely no meaning & use of setting up exaggerated high end objectives which doesn’t have any direct correlation in the form of its practical application in our daily life.
